McGuckins go to Disney World!

December 19, 2016

What a fun little trip this was! While we were visiting our family in Florida, we were surprised and gifted with a night at the Disney Port Orleans hotel, and evening in Disney Springs, and the next morning in Magic Kingdom!  Seriously…best surprise EVER!

During this trip I was so impressed at how well Disney paid attention to little details, the food was delicious, the cast members were always so sweet and fun with the kids, even the shampoos at the hotel were adorable!

On our quick trip we made our way to Disney Springs where Frankie got to make his own lightsaber with Steve.  We also got to pick out an adorable Christmas ornament (a McGuckin tradition – we pick one out every time we are somewhere new!)

We ate delicious fish tacos and the kids danced to live music.  We liked Disney Springs! 🙂

The next morning we arrived at Magic Kingdom once it opened…we were all feeling a little tired but got a second wind meeting Mickey Mouse right away! Frankie also went on Space Mountain – his first roller coaster ever.  SO COOL. Adelaide met Cinderella…such an adorable moment.

At my request…we went on Ariel’s undersea adventure!! The Little Mermaid was one of my all time favorite Disney movie’s so that was pretty special. Both of the kids loved it…Frankie was shouting hello to all of the characters as they passed by…it was so cute.

I even got Steve to rock mouse ears…yep…he loves me lol! 🙂

Frankie’s favorite moment was the Buzz Lightyear ride and the parade, while Adelaide loved chatting with Princess Elena about her dress.  She was SO in love with Elena!

I had such a great time I’m hoping we can come back and do it all again one day soon.
What a magical place, so perfect for family fun!

Welcome to my little blog!

I am a wife, mother and follower of Jesus! I love to document our day to day family adventures, traveling as often and as much possible! I love the ocean, fashion, a well planned party, and good books (especially ones about hobbits!)

So glad you are here!

Love, Charlene
