Colorado is amazing. So different from anywhere in the US that I’ve been, it feels like it could almost be another country. It was my first time seeing the Rocky Mountains, and they are nothing less than magnificent. Rocky Mountain National Park was incredible, we ventured 12,000 feet into the mountains and were blessed to see some of God’s finest: elk, a mamma moose with her brand new baby, a marmot, and lots of mule deer. Not to mention spectacular views along the way.
Kessler Canyon was a stunning secluded getaway. I’d describe it as rustic, unique luxury. 🙂 We went on an ATV tour through the mountains, got amazing instruction at a shooting range, took a jeep up the side of the mountains, and fished whenever we wanted. We found a sitter for 2 of the days we were there and really go to enjoy time sitting by the outdoor fireplace and catching up with family.
And the stars. Oh. MY…the stars. I’ve never seen stars so clear or beautiful in my life. So very blessed and grateful to our family for this amazing adventure.
