I can’t even begin to explain the absolute pure joy that rushed over me when I went to my 12 week ultrasound this past week. My little baby was jumping, waving, and even sucking his/her thumb!
Steve’s thinks the baby is a boy…I’m convinced the baby is a girl. My face is puffy (already!) and I’m pretty much nauseated most of the day, both of which never happened with Frankie.
Frank thinks girl too…sooooo…we’re probably right. 😉
Driving in the car yesterday, Frankie goes: “Hey mamma, how’s my baby doing?”
He’s already taken total ownership of this whole big brother thing. Looove it.
How far along?
12 Weeks
Maternity clothes?
Yes and no…a combination. I didn’t need maternity cloths with Frankie until I was 17 weeks along.
But alas…my tummy has definitely popped MUCH quicker!!
Symptoms:
Nausea at night. Puffy face!!
Sleep:
Up a few times in the night but I’m falling back asleep pretty quickly.
Best moment this week:
Seeing my little one on the ultrasound machine. It was incredible!
Miss Anything?
Tuna melts.
Baby Movement:
None yet.
Food cravings:
Real lemonade, anything sour.
Have you started to show yet?
Yes!
Wedding rings on or off?
On.
One word to describe this week:
Contentment.
Frankie’s BIG brother status:
He’s thrilled and always asks about the baby. When he asks me to carry him upstairs and I say no (he’s a 42 pound 3 year old), he responds by saying “but the baby really likes it when you carry me!”
