Beautiful May crowning yesterday to celebrate Cousin James’ first Holy Communion!!💙 {the reel is in my highlights!} On a side note I thought it was important to clarify:

💕Us Catholics do NOT worship Mary, we worship God alone, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!

💕We get the “Hail Mary” from the angel Gabriel in the gospel of Luke. This is how he greeted her, so it’s how we greet the mother of Jesus

💕You know how when you’re going through a hard time you ask your friends and family to pray for you? That’s all the Hail Mary is—-asking the Earthly person who knew Jesus best (his Mom!) to bring our prayer intentions directly to Jesus, the same way we do when we ask our friends.

💕The May crowning is a beautiful Catholic tradition where the children who just received Jesus in Holy Communion honor His mother and thank her for saying “Yes” to God...she could’ve said no!

🛩 This is my Daddy, he’s a pilot who specializes in flying falcon jets, although he could literally fly anything. (No joke) When he was Adelaides age he knew he wanted to be a pilot. I don’t think I’ve looked up to anyone more in my life than him.

🛩 Four years ago he had a massive stroke that almost took him away from us. Prayer, I know, is what kept him here.

👨🏻‍✈️ Last month we got the best news EVER. My Dad got his wings back. After years of hard work, he’s taking to the sky again. I can’t think of a better example of faith, hard work, and perseverance for my kids. Thanks Dad, and enjoy the skies.✈️✈️✈️ #captainmycaptain
