My baby…my tiny, sweet little boy…is now a one year old. ONE! Already! Can you believe it? It has been an incredible year. This time last year Steve and I were spending our first night home with baby Francis Perry McGuckin.
The night of his birth was one of the most beautiful experiences of our entire lives. Francis Perry was 10 long days late, and Steve and I were counting the seconds to his arrival. After much walking, praying, a teaspoon of castor oil, and 8 hours of labor with a very patient husband and midwife, we welcomed our Francis Perry to the world.
Every single day of the past 365 days has been full of joy. Stress, fatigue, or any worries melt away the second Francis smiles. (and WHAT a smile he has)
